What is GBI Racing?

Great British and Irish racing is widely regarded as the best in the world. Its equine superstars, world famous racing festivals, picturesque courses and rich history are the envy of the world. The unique history, traditions, levels of integrity and range of product make British and Irish racing a compelling offering for the wagering audience.

GBI Racing launched as a joint venture company between Racing UK and At The Races on March 1, 2010 and is the sole rights holder for the distribution of British & Irish racing to overseas retail betting outlets and online operators. Our mission is to protect and maximise the value of UK and Irish horseracing media rights in the international betting market.

How does GBI work?

GBI Racing aims to provide wagering customers with the world’s favourite horseracing service by delivering live, multi-camera coverage of nearly 12,000 races a year from all 59 British and 26 Irish racecourses.

Our modern service provides everything today’s betting customers need, including exclusive previews and tips, runners and riders info, non-runners, live local odds, in-running numbers, distance to go and full results.

GBI Racing’s daily coverage, is available for distribution into retail outlets and online operators via satellite broadcast or IPTV in tote and fixed odds betting territories around the world.

Since inception, we have grown at a rapid rate. In 2012, GBI Racing moved into a new state-of-the-art production hub at Ealing, which means there are now three feeds/variations of GBI Racing plus daily TV previews.

We can produce bespoke, translated output for customers and operate an enhanced data service via arrangements with the Press Association.

Extensive marketing and PR support – including daily tips, weekly and monthly highlights/calendars, weekly jockey columns, point of sale material, images and posters – is available to help increase interest and turnover.
